TROOP 86 MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to deliver a fully developed Scouts B.S.A. program, so that each boy and girl associated with Troop 86 can achieve meaningful personal growth and character development. To fulfill this mission, Troop 86 will emphasize the building blocks of Scouting related leadership development, through the use of the Scouting patrol method, outdoor skills, and citizenship training.
Troop 86 will uphold the vision of the Scouts B.S.A. to, “Prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Laws.” Each Scout who emerges from the Troop 86 program will have all the tools necessary to live life as adults of integrity, who are physically and mentally fit to be excellent citizens.
